Here we go!

When I got into Ilchi Lee, I noticed a big empty space on the right hand side of the website. Maybe it’s for the visitors with smaller screen resolution, but with more people using at least 1024×768 nowadays, the space seems redundant. Maybe the person behind the design can feature the profile of Ilchi Lee, which I find necessary because…

…I didn’t know what “Ilchi Lee” word is. I found out that it’s a name after I read the paragraphs in the content area. A lot of people don’t get the idea that Ilchi Lee is a person’s name because they’re living in other countries with different language where Ilchi Lee doesn’t sound like a person’s name at all.

Same thing goes with the header. The header can be better exploited by putting a logo or, a picture of Ilchi Lee instead of a picture of grass and a text. My suggestion will be making it bigger and add a more informative picture.

Now while they’re planning on filling the rightside up, I’d also like to suggest to move the content a bit to the right. There is a lot of space on the right, but none on the left. More spacious design will be easier on the readers’ eyes.

Despite of the content, the web design should utilize the horizontal space available. In my opinion, the front page uses too much of vertical scrolling while some content can be moved up occupying the left-right space to reduce scrolling.

Well, that’s my short review and suggestions. Whether I win the cash or not, I hope the review does something good.
