Once you have started a web design business, you are now in the unenviable position of dealing with clients. There will be many types of clients that you will have to deal with in order to have a successful web design business.
There will be clients that will send you ideas about what they want, have you copy those ideas, and then proceed to reject every single one of the ideas that they originated. There will be other clients that will give descriptions for websites that fit nearly every description that you could possibly design. You will get off the phone with less of an indication about what they want than when you began talking to them.
In order to run a successful web design business, you must realize that most web design clients do not know what they want. You do not only have the responsibility to translate their ideas, you are also responsible for leading them through the entire process.
