In this page, you can subscribe to updates via RSS or email on each category. You can also read a friendly explanation about RSS subscription.
What is RSS?
In simple English, RSS is an easy way to keep yourself updated on your favourite blogs’ content. Below are some definitions support one another, which will give you a brighter picture of what RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is…
It is a way online for you to get a quick list of the latest story headlines from all your favorite websites and blogs all in one place – CravingIdeas
and also…
RSS is a technology that is being used by millions of web users around the world to keep track of their favorite websites – Problogger
that makes…
The main benefit of RSS is that it enables people to stay connected with their favorite websites without having to visit them. Once you subscribe to a particular RSS feed, you will automatically receive updates from the website that publishes the feed, whenever they release new content – RSSDay
Without RSS, people need to bookmark websites they are interested in and return to them periodically to check whether there’s something new had been added. If you have bookmarked nearly a hundred pages, this manual routine will spend a lot of time and if a site isn’t updated, that means there’s a waste of time. By subscribing using RSS, you won’t have to visit each blog to see if it has new updates. You can just go to your RSS reader where you collect all your RSS subscription and read the updates from your RSS reader. You can subscribe to RSS updates either through text links or RSS symbols that usually comes in orange () and looks like a “radar”, or anywhere says “RSS”. Let’s go straight to the implementation. Within this blog, I have a handful of subscribing options. I categorize them based on the topics I’ll be giving you updates on.
Subscribe to full content updates (all categories except Contests, News and Rumors and Glimpse of the Blogosphere which you can read directly on the blog). If you choose this option, you don’t need to subscribe to the two above categories, since they will be included in each updates.
Subscribe to comment updates – Keep updated about your conversation on HomeBiz Resource. See if your questions are answered already and know what others are responding.
You can see in the above that other than using an RSS reader, you also have the option to have updates delivered into your mailbox. This way, you can read updates from your email account. If you select an email subscription, you will need to enter your email address and a verification image. Shortly after that, you will be delivered a confirmation mail to your email address you entered earlier. Confirm using the link inside and when next updates occur, you’ll have them straight in your mailbox! You can also subscribe for all updates on HomeBiz Recource regardless the categories (except for the Contest, News and Rumors and Glimpse of the Blogosphere which are available only to blog visitors) below. Just enter your email and submit.
However, if your prefer to keep your mailbox tidy, subscribing using RSS is definitely a wise choice. To do this, click on any of the “via RSS” link you prefer and depending on your browser setting, you will be taken into one of these pages: an iGoogle homepage or a Google RSS Reader

You can choose to read the updates from your iGoogle page or using Google Reader. If you prefer to read the updates using iGoogle, you will have the latest articles displayed automatically between your other items on your homepage.

The left panel contains the list of your subscriptions while the article details are on the right. As you can see, you can easily switch between subscriptions to check updates from different blogs. Just click onn their names and the latest article from the blog is presented instantly. There’s no need to visit each blog to check for updates anymore .
The second method you’ll probably see when you decide to subscribe using RSS is…
a list of feed updates …that looks similar like this

Just as like the previous method, the page will also ask you to choose an RSS reader. Only here, you have a broader range of options. There are tons of readers available and you can use any of them.
After you’ve completed these few simple steps, you’ll begin to read contents centralized. If you feel that the above is too complicated, you can always use email updates. You can sebscribe your email through the links above, top of the right hand sidebar, end of every articles as well as the footer section. You can’t miss them, they’re everywhere to be found !
