Gog.is – URL Shrinker for Google Search Results
January 13, 2009, filed under Quick Internet Tips
Mr. Calzone from Norwegia develops a URL shortening service for Google search results. If you often find yourself having trouble sending long URLs in emails, IMs, or even need to save space tweeting, you can simply type in http://gog.is/ followed by your query.
For example, the query result for HomeBiz Resource would be at:
http://www.google.com/search?q=HomeBiz+Resource&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B2GGFB_enID260ID260
For the same result, you can just type in http://gog.is/HomeBiz+Resource. Gog.is also makes it comfortable to save Google search results. At least it doesn’t take too much space
