Convinient France Driving

bukiki-hotelsenfrancais-banner It’s not surprising that France is of the most visited countries in Europe. Mention them: delicious food, fantastic wine, amazing views and landscapes to explore, the axis of the world’s fashion, and a fine transportation system.

France highways have been very well developed where most of the freeway (Autoroute) links are toll roads. You can pay their toll services using major credit cards, or you can use the automatic booth, but only with a chip equipped card.

One thing to remember while driving is that you’re expected to pass on the left, while driving is on the right.

Another one is to pay attention to the signage. Green signs refer to “free roads”, opposite to blue signs that means “peage”, or “pay the toll roads”.

There are also speed limits of around 90-110 on the free roads between major cities and 130 on the toll roads. Town limits between 30 and 50, but never higher than 50 kilometers per hour.
