Many blogs are full of interesting information, but the information must be concise and well-written to make people want to share it with their friends and family. There are many ways to make your content shareworthy. Using a picture or video to present your information is very helpful, especially if your post presents new information or offers a solution to a common problem. Most people only share posts that are short and contain interesting headlines. Offering a substantial discount or giving something away is another way to make readers want to share your posts.
Use Multimedia
Plain text posts are often considered boring, even if they share valuable new information that can help the reader. Posting a color picture that goes along with your posting is a great way to capture the interest of your readers and make them want to share. Using humor is a good idea, especially if it relates to your industry or the theme of your blog. It doesn’t take a lot of time to create a short slideshow or video, and using these mediums does wonders to brighten a boring blog post.
Offer A Solution
People who read and post on social media websites are often looking to become part of a community. Offering a solution to a common problem helps you connect to the readers while sharing information that helps them with a problem. You may also want to ask the readers for help with a problem that you are experiencing. People love to offer advice and share their personal experiences. For example, you may have an abundance of tomatoes in your garden right now. Some readers may commiserate with similar stories, while others may offer advice about freezing and canning tomatoes. You can use the advice given by your reader in a future post about canning. Readers love to be heard and feel that their input is important to you.
Write Compelling Headlines
Most people who read social media sites are bombarded by hundreds of posts each day and may not read past a boring headline. Headlines should always offer a very short summary of the most important information in the post. Sometimes it is easier to write an entire post before writing the headline to ensure that the headline is accurate and captures the most important information being shared. Questions usually make great headlines and so do phrases that begin with numbers, such as 5 Quick Ways to Write Headlines.
Offer Discounts or Free Items
People love to find and share a great deal on just about anything, so offering to give away or discount merchandise is a surefire way to get readers to share your post. Some blogs offer a giveaway every time they gain a hundred new likes on their Facebook page. This encourages readers to share the site with their friends so they will have a chance to win items more frequently. Online shops may hold a special sale and discount items up to 50% for readers who share their page with potential customers.
Writing content that others want to share can be a challenge, but it is also very rewarding. You may experiment with several different writing techniques before finding one or two that resonate with your readers and make them want to share your content with everyone they know.

Great post on getting others to interact.
This would have to be one of the most neglected areas for most bloggers. Most forget about their content and spend countless hours trying to find suitable link partners.
If they were to write compelling and informative posts the links would come naturally.
