whats the point for adding a no follow link? I never actually understood it. What does it matter if its a follow or no follow. I know what they mean, i just dont get why someone would go out of their way to add a no-follow

It amazes me that there is still no option in WP to simply add a “nofollow” tags to selected links. All I’m trying to do right now is find a simple way to add “nofollow” to my about,contact,policy pages.. Without using a plugin.

You can apply nofollow for any links. I use nofollow for links leading to administrative links like login (if any), edit posts, edit comments and links to feed and feed subscribing. Moreover, I also use nofollow for tag archives.

I did nofollowed the category archives but then I found out it’s better to leave the followed I guess it depends on which page you want to rank higher than others.
