This article will tell you your most valuable asset in make money blogging and encourage yourself to use it effectively.
$86,400 Every Day
I recently read a book called “HABITUDES - Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes” by Dr Tim Elmore. On one of the chapters, he revealed both delightful and inconvenient truth. How effective do you use your time? Do you even realize how precious your time is?
What would it be if every day, someone anonymous transfers $86,400 into your bank account. The exact same amount everyday - $86,400 - and it’s up to you to use the money as you like. There’s only one catch, you must spend the money to the last bit of cent for every end of the day, the remaining of the balance will be vanished.
How would you use the money?
I bet that you’ll think long and hard for the best way to spend the cash. On the next level, you may even list what you’re gonna spend the money for, where is the best price available, when is the right time on the day to spend it and many more serious considerations.
Why do you take it so seriously? Simple. $86,400 is a hefty sum of money and you don’t want to waste any of the remaining at the end of the day. Bingo! That is how we should use our time…
The Truth
However, nobody’s willing to give us $86,400. But every day, 86,400 seconds are given for you to be used, utilized, employed…or to be wasted. Still, most people don’t see their time as something more valuable and precious than money.
The Best Attitude…
…to start using your time effectively is start using it right now! You will find out which activities don’t result as expected and which are doing very good. Continue with doing the activity with results and do them more intensively. Find another ways to spend the remaining of those $86,400
and spend it wisely.
A good starting point is to narrow your focus. If you’re reading my blog, then most likely you’re a blogger. We all know that there are many things we can do with a blog. You can monetize, build a community, sell products, or even support a company website with a blog. Choose which one is your blogging goal.
For instance, let’s go for making your blog as your source of income. The next step is to know how your blog can be your private ATM. These can be PPC ads, sponsored p***s, joining blog contests, private ads, link s**ling, or else.
If you choose monetizing through advertising, you need to give the advertisers’ campaigns the best result. It means you need to drive a big amount of traffic to your site. You can find tons of traffic generation tips on the net, but stay focused on one or two methods until you’re certain with the result. If the result is good, stay with it and start expanding. If it isn’t, make sure you don’t want to try it again next time and then start doing the alternative method.
That is one of the methods you can use to spend 86,400 seconds in a day of your life. The delightful part is that we all actually have an abundant bless at every start of the day. But it is inconvenient to know that they’re not accumulated for the next day. We will lose whatever remains so we will have to spend it the best way to avoid regret.

One of my mistakes is not focusing on one of many social media networks on the net. I tried to be active on as many networks as possible and it caused me undetermined of which network was the best for my blog. What I learned is breaking my focus to many things at once will only slow down my progress.
What a GREAT post!!
I can relate with Louis, there are many distractions on the net, and especially when you are trying to focus on building a blogging or affiliate marketing business. I used to have about 20 feeds and 20 blog subscriptions and I found myself losing hours in a lot of these and most of them were not helping me in anyway to move onto success. I had to cut down to the essential feeds, the ones that were really informative and supported my progressing forward in my online marketing ventures.
Find a few sites/blogs that provide you with simple, usable information and stick with those, focus, learn it and then DO IT!! It is really in doing that we learn the best!
